I am so thrilled with my new salon, Alya. I have followed Tammy three times now and I’m so glad I did. First, the salon: it’s beautiful, well-lit and well organized. There are little touches that I really appreciate, like nice glasses for drinking filtered water, or tea and other soft drink options. The chairs are comfortable and everything is sparkling clean, and the layout feels very welcoming. As always, Tammy did an amazing job with my balayage and haircut. Each time I get a new style or color I say “this is the best ever!”, but it’s really true. She listens carefully to my requests and always knows how to make sure my desired style works for my hair type and face shape. And Tammy is a genius with color!

I was so happy I randomly found this salon on yelp! My hair was a bit of a disaster – it was brassy with blond highlights underneath as well as some grown out roots. Natalya was so nice and explained to me the process of getting my hair to where I wanted it. She had to lift the color, highlight, tone and lift the root color. All that was done in little time and with NO damage to my hair. My hair is as smooth as before. Natalya is the best and her salon is clean and quiet. Also everyone who works there is very friendly. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place!

This is my second time coming to this hair salon. Like every other curly hair girl It’s difficult finding a right hair stylist. So I did my search and found two hair salon that specializes in curly hair. One of them was Alya Salon and I’m glad that I came here 🙂 Plus it has good reviews on Yelp! The first time I went there was last month , I just wanted a deep conditioning treatment, Natalya greeted me right away and started working on my hair. She answered all my questions that I had about cutting my hair short with bangs. She and Tammy are professionals and I love the place ! Today I came in with my mom because I told her that their very good at cutting curly hair. When I called Natalya answered the phone and made a appointment at 4. When Natalya told me that Tammy was going to cut my mom’s hair at first I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if she could cut curly hair the way Natalya can. But I trusted them so I took my mom and Tammy asked my mom the right questions about curly hair. My mom got a free shine treatment because of my first check in and not only that but she got the right hair cut she wanted! I am so impressed with their professionalism and this won’t be the last time coming in:)

Great salon with professionals! Tammy is an absolutely great hair stylist. I’ve decided to try her after seen a few of her works. I’m a blond and trying to keep my hair healthy and long. I’ve been a client of another very good salon for over a year, but my hair hasn’t grown a bit. So,not only Tammy gave me a good haircut and made my hair looks gorgeous, she told me what to do to make them grow. The salon is brand new, very clean with relaxed and positive atmosphere. I had a chance to meet the owner and she was very nice and friendly. I’d definitely recommend Alya especially if you live in Fairfax, Vienna area.

I love Natalya’s work. She is a MASTER at color. She also specializes in curly hair. Always great cuts that style and move wonderfully. I have been seeing Natalya for years, and would not trust anyone’s work as much as I do hers. Beautiful, airy and modern salon. I definitely will be back.

Best place ever . Very clean and bright.  All the stuff is very nice . Spacially Natalya , great hair stylist,  very knowledgeable and ready to help and guide you in all your hairstyling needs and desires.  I would definitely come back there again and will advise all of my friends and family to go there
