Alya Salon and Spa loves giving back to the community by supporting local charities in the area! 2020 was a strange year to say the least, we still came together and partnered with a couple of our favorite organizations. These past years especially have been a trying time for many in our Fairfax area, therefore we wanted to be able to help in any way that we could.

The first organization we partnered with was Britepath. Britepath offers tailored services to address the unique needs of those living in poverty or experiencing crisis. They offer a wide range of services and goods including food, gift cards, and school supplies, which aid in stabilizing families. This amazing organization helps over 7,000 families and individuals each year through their services. In April of 2020, we were able to participate in their annual event, “Artful Living”. We donated raffle items and our salon was the drop off location for back to school backpacks. We are honored to be a part of helping out those 7,000 families and individuals through providing our donations and support.

Another organization we are proud to be partnered with is Braws. Bringing Resources To Aid Women’s Shelters, BRAWS aims to help women who are in need of essential items such as pads, tampons, bras, and underwear. Another amazing local charity in Vienna, we were able to provide resources for them through several different channels. We were a drop off location for items to be donated to their organization. Furthermore, we participated in their “Mardi Bras” event in February, in which we were able to provide raffle tickets for our salon. Through doing this, we helped thousands of girls get the necessary items that come with just being a woman. We love supporting local charities and look forward to continuing to support our local charity organizations!
